V8

I used to have an old truck. My uncle and I worked on it one summer with the intention that I would drive it to college in the fall. It was a cool old truck, but it was an old truck. I soon discovered that no power steering and no automatic transmission in city traffic just wasn’t going to work. Let’s not even talk about it having no air condition. I sure wasn’t going to impress any girls in that old truck.

This is the front grill of an old Chevy truck (I think) permanently parked at a restaurant on the beach. It may never see road action again, but it still gets noticed a lot.

I thought of Daryl Clark when I saw this. He has some nice auto closeups you should check out.

  1. Tim, This is a great photo. I love the feeling of the texture and the colors. I tried to touch it on the screen but it just did not feel the same. I don’t know why. Thanks for the mention.
