A Little Bit of Asia

I’ve mentioned before how Houston is a multi-cultural city. It didn’t use to be that way, until the last thirty years or so. Now you have parts of town where English is almost the second language. but with this brings variety and new sights.

This is the entrance to a Buddhist Temple and sits in the shadow of a tall pagoda. Before entering, you must remove your shoes. Outside, I saw a lot of loafers and sandles. Me, I brought sneakers, which meant I was always the last one getting mine back on and tied.
