The Red Telephone Booth

It was late and I was tired. Finishing a photo walk with some friends, I was returning to the car when I spotted the red telephone booth. I know I’ve seen it before, but never really noticed it. It’s amazing what you start to see when you’re carrying your camera with you. I just managed to complete a set of photos when an inebriated gentleman (I’m trying to be nice here) came out from a pub and started criticizing me for taking pictures of nothing worthwhile. Well, I think it was worth the effort.

Don’t forget to click on the photo to go to my SmugMug site, where you can view larger and sharper copies and even purchase one for private use. Photo by Tim Stanley Photography.

Very nice Tim. Did the phone work? There is very little distortion. What lens did you use?

I didn’t think of trying it, but I will next time! I was my first time out with my new Canon EF-S 15-85, set at 15mm. It’s turning out to be a great general purpose lens.
