Early Spring Sunset

I enjoy taking sunset photos when I have the opportunity and the sky cooperates.  The skies during the cooler months offer extra clouds for a more dynamic view and shades of colors. Add to that the trees haven’t bloomed and you get views you don’t see during the warmer months.

My short stretch to work with a clear view west is a favorite spot to shoot sunsets. Otherwise, there would be traffic lights and billboards hiding the view. I wish there was a beautiful lake or mountain to frame them with, but hey, you work with what you have. This is a first of three photos from a sunset back in March. The telephoto gives this scene a closer view than the standard wide angle lens.
