The Lower Chapel of Sainte-Chapelle

The Lower Chapel of Le Sainte-Chapelle (the Holy Chapel) is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was once reserved for the king’s staff. It’s a bit more modest than the upper chapel. Since it was originally commissioned by King Louis IX of France, you can find his statue among the art and treasures stored there.

As nice as the lower chapel is, the best part is still upstairs.
