Fields of Gold

One song that I have always liked is “Fields of Gold, by Sting. Anytime I hear that song, I get a mental picture of wheat or barley fields with the setting sunlight shining through.

Not growing up in that part of the country, I can’t say that I’ve seen that for myself. About the closest I’ve come is a tall, Texas grass field on a hot summer’s evening.
