Indy is adding a Grand Prix weekend, similar to what we recently had with the the Houston Grand Prix. To promote their event, they have this car on tour at major events leading up to that race weekend of May 10, 2014.
As much as I enjoy the Indy and F1 cars, I have a great fondness for closed wheel racing. Maybe it is because they look more like street cars, or maybe they just look like they might go faster. I'm not sure. But I do know that I enjoyed watching the Audi GMG R8 LMS, piloted by Rene Rast, the factory Audi Sport customer racing driver at the recent Houston Grand Prix.
This race at the Houston Grand Prix featured the really little cars like Mini-Coopers, Volkswagons and more. Whatever brand car you enjoy, there was probably one there racing.
