Beneath the Lourve The Louvre Pyramid (Pyramide du Louvre) is a large glass and metal pyramid, surrounded by three smaller pyramids. Located in the main courtyard (Cour Napoléon) of the Louvre Palace (Palais du Louvre) in Paris, the large pyramid serves as the main entrance to the Louvre Museum. Completed in 1989, it has become a landmark of the city of Paris. Next to the Eiffel Tower, it is one of the most popular items to photograph while in Paris. Because of our very short visit, I couldn't compete with the beautiful shots of the pyramids outside, so I thought I would try a different twist by shooting from underneath.
God Bless Our Home Houses are structures men build to come in out of the rain. Houses become homes when they are filled with the people and memories that make it special. Throughout our homes, we have trinkets, photographs and other items that bring back special moments that help us remember the good times and those we love. A home is a special place. Do something today to help make your house, a home. I was at a friend's home when I noticed these items and thought how each family has similar collections that make our homes special. I bet you have a shelf or cabinet with special items too.
Canterbury Cathedral Wow, what a building, both in structure and history. Canterbury Cathedral in Canterbury, Kent, is one of the oldest and most famous Christian structures in England.
