Late Night Dining at Katz’s A few friends and I met at the Houston Zoo for a photo walk, then ended the evening with some sunset shots. We were all a bit tired from the heat and very hungry. Not in the mood for a burger, we agreed on Katz’s Deli on Montrose. It was late, but hey, they’re open 24 hours. After a great meal and fellowship, we headed back outside. But wait! I see neon signs. There are not a lot of these large neons in town, so it was fun to shoot one more round of photos before calling it a night.
The Henry VIII Gateway at Windsor Castle Though the Henry VIII gateway in the Lower Ward entrance of Windsor Castle isn't as large as the main entrance to the castle, it's still quite impressive.
A Walk in the Park A city park is an oasis in the middle of steel and concrete. The greenery and colors contrast to the monochromatic shades of the city. How odd it would be if the tables were turned. The park was where you retreated from the saturation of life, a place for the eyes to rest and regroup. It would be the physical representation of what we go there for now. We allow our minds to relax and restore, before returning to the stress and confusion of everything the city has waiting.
