Camero in the Courtyard Most smaller car shows take place in a local strip center or department store parking lot. This small show was held at the Sugar Land Town Square. Though not large, the quality exceeded the quantity. The City Hall building always makes for a nice background for any activity or event that takes place there.
Crane on a Pier My focus was on the sunrise as I was shooting around a small pier, with the Pensacola Beach “skyline” in the background. I looked over as this large crane came along and made himself comfortable. I had to move down the shore a bit to get a nice profile and had time for just one good shot before he moved, then flew away.
Canal Street While the night scenes of a city are unique with lights and shadows, the daylight leaves nothing to the imagination. Compare this view with the nighttime version and while they are similar, they are very much different. This is another view from the Sheraton hotel in downton New Orleans, looking down Canal Street, but from a few floors up. From here, you can see the barges cruising up and down the Mississippi. The wind was very breezy this morning, which helped kept any morning haze away.
