The Early Bird They say the early bird catches the worm. But if you're the early boat that has the worms, then you're catching fish. There's something magical about loading up the boat before sunrise and hitting the water just as the sun comes up. The water is calm and though things are still quiet, the birds are starting to stir. Then the sound of the outboard revs up and echoes across the top of the water, breaking the stillness of the new day. These fishermen are pulling out from Shoreline Park in Pensacola, with the Pensacola Beach Bridge in the background.
Bourbon Street Many major cities have a street that comes to mind when you think of famous locations or attractions. Washington D.C. has Pennsylvania Avenue. Beverly Hills has Rodea Drive and New York City has Wall Street. Down south in Louisiana, New Orleans has Bourbon Street. It's a totally different atmosphere during the day than at night, but still interesting anytime you visit. If you don't like crowds, don't even think about walking down after dark, but it's known as the place to go for good music and a lot to see...so to speak.
