The Louvre Pyramid and Fountains The Louvre Palace in Paris is well known for many things, such as how large it is, the quality of the art inside and the large, glass pyramid outside. The Louvre Pyramid is made of glass and metal, that breaks down to a total of 673 glass panes. It is surrounded by three smaller pyramids and several fountains in the main courtyard.
View from the Outfield Recently, when I go to a ball game, I've started getting up and walking around the ballpark. Yes, I'm usually taking photos as I go, but I enjoy getting to experience the different vantage points you can watch the game from. Sure, there are the coveted seats behind home plate, but there are a lot of other interesting places from which to view the game. This view is from centerfield. It's a bit far for my taste, but it's less crowded and you stand a better chance of getting a home run ball than the guys behind the bases.
