The Lower Chapel of Sainte-Chapelle The Lower Chapel of Le Sainte-Chapelle (the Holy Chapel) is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was once reserved for the king's staff. It's a bit more modest than the upper chapel. Since it was originally commissioned by King Louis IX of France, you can find his statue among the art and treasures stored there.
These rowboats are from the Folkestone Harbor in England, just down the road from Dover. The sun was starting to set and already the little harbor was settling in for the evening.
Simple Character Some buildings, though plain in design, can still have character. This old building houses Katz's Deli, where you can find a great meal 24 hours a day. It's basically a box, but the awnings and neon signs give it a unique flair most buildings in the area do not have. The square design and brick exterior also provide on old town feel that contrasts with many newer buildings. It's not your typical fast-food look, with a drive through and plastic chairs to sit on. This is the real McCoy.
