The Driskill Ford Though I enjoy cars as much as the next guy, I'm not great at distinguishing very old models, much less remembering them once I find out. You see them so rarely, it's hard to keep them straight. If you are ever in Austin, Texas, be sure to visit the Driskill Hotel. Opened in 1886, it's the showplace of cattle baron Jesse Driskill and is a landmark of Texas hospitality. Out front you will find this old Ford park on the street. I thought it fitting to give it the old photo look, though the car is actually in great shape.
