Jake's Garage The country is at war and nothing is the same as it used to be. Fathers, uncles and brothers have gone overseas to fight in this second World War, as some are in the Pacific, while others in Europe. Here at home, it's not unusual to find businesses closed while the owner is off to war, or their wife working the family business, trying to help it survive long enough until they return. Jake's Garage is another scene from the Home Front U.S.A. exhibit at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida.
The Moscow Circus I don’t think the Moscow Circus is really from Moscow, but it adds a bit of mystique and uniqueness to this attraction for kids at the carnival. It’s really a quite large attraction, but dwarfed by the ferris wheel, it looks much smaller.
The Clipper Flying Cloud The Boeing 307 Stratoliner or “Clipper Flying Cloud” was the first airliner with a pressurized fuselage. This beautiful plane is found at the Boeing Aviation Hanger at the Udvar-Hazy Center, part of the National Air and Space Museum.
