These rowboats are from the Folkestone Harbor in England, just down the road from Dover. The sun was starting to set and already the little harbor was settling in for the evening.
Simple Character Some buildings, though plain in design, can still have character. This old building houses Katz's Deli, where you can find a great meal 24 hours a day. It's basically a box, but the awnings and neon signs give it a unique flair most buildings in the area do not have. The square design and brick exterior also provide on old town feel that contrasts with many newer buildings. It's not your typical fast-food look, with a drive through and plastic chairs to sit on. This is the real McCoy.
The Hudson "Terraplane" The Terraplane was a car brand and model built by the Hudson Motor Car Company of Detroit, Michigan, between 1932 and 1938. They were inexpensive yet powerful vehicles that were used in both town and country, and both cars and trucks displayed the Terraplane name. Though decked out with some hot rod and performance additions, this 1935 Hudson still holds true to the classic lines of the year it was built. I think Roy D. Chapin would be proud. It was just a few of the cars that caught my eye at a local car show at the Sugar Land Town Square.
