The Colors of Europe One thing I noticed traveling through the English and French countryside was the amount of color. Sometimes that buildings, sometime the signs, but always the flowers. Maybe we hit it just right for flowers to be in blooms, but they seemed to be everywhere. Flower boxes on windows, traffic roundabouts and every else you looked. Where the cities lacked in trees, they made up for in flowers. Everywhere you looked you could find a splash of color.
Ballpark Ice House When folks get together to go catch a ball game, many like to enjoy a cold brew. At Constellation Field in Sugar Land, TX, there's a place just past centerfield where you can go do just that. I'll leave it to you to figure out who the sponsor is, but when the minor league home team "Skeeters" play ball, there's always a crowd enjoying the refreshments as well as the game.On my first walk around the ballpark, the lights of the sign and the Texas size scoreboard caught my eye. It's dumb luck that the team logo popped up on the screen at the right time.
Castle Garden When you visit a castle for the first time, you are mesmerized by the size of it all. They are like no structures you find in the "west" and at first you feel like you are on a movie set, until after a few minutes, it starts to sink in that this is the real thing. I found this scene running to keep up with our group at Windsor Castle. Most everyone seemed not to notice, as everyone was looking up and ahead. I looked over the wall and noticed this serene garden. You can almost imagine a princess strolling through the grounds waiting for her knight to return.
