The Clarendon Building The Clarendon Building (on the left) is a landmark building in Oxford, England, owned by the University of Oxford. Built between 1711 and 1715 , it stands in the center of the city in Broad Street, near the Bodleian Library and the Sheldonian Theatre. From what I can tell from other online photos, this may actually be the back of the building. We didn't have an opportunity to walk around, but I was pretty impressed with the side I saw.
Old Country Cabin Though not what I would consider a great vacation resort, this small cabin is where I might enjoy spending a few nights away from the city. Listening to the wind blow through the trees is much nicer than the sounds of cars buzzing down the street. I'm not sure, but I'm hoping there's a microwave and big screen TV inside and a bottle of mosquito repellant on the porch. This was taken with my iPhone at Camp Tejas, close to Giddings, Texas.
Waiting in the Shadows Earlier this week, the crowds at the zoo were empty since the weather was hot, so few animals were moving about. This image was a challenge as it was shot through thick plastic. I had to look hard to find a clean area with no reflections. Then wait until the lion looked my way. He did, for only a moment. But that's all I needed.
