Gumballs in the Mall It starts at a young age. The innocent children walking past the brightly colored gumball machine are the unknowing target. They are helpless. A child has no natural defense against the sugary, colorful gumballs sitting in a glass container for all to see. They call to their parents, pleading for the coins to make the final connection to the colorful confection.
The Mecom Fountain at Christmas The Mecom Fountain is a Houston landmark. For travelers between the Medical Center and downtown, this is a common sight. Though the fountain lights do not change color, the area Christmas lights still help make the atmosphere bright and festive. This scene is peeking through the trees of the Hotel ZaZa. The area is heavily traveled and the colored lines are the cars going by. It took a bit of timing not to get only the bright headlights of the cars passing. The reds and yellows of the taillights work much nicer for that touch of color.
