Rising up from the tube into downtown, we first peered upon Westminster Palace and Big Ben. Right there on the corner by the entrance to the tube, is Boadicea. Boudica, as she is sometime referred to, was a great queen of Norfolk in the east of England during Roman times. She led a mass uprising against the occupying Roman forces. She was noted for her fearlessness in battle and has always been considered as England's first 'Iron Lady'.
Recently, we took a trip to Dallas where my wife and daughter wanted to visit the Dallas Galleria. Not nearly as large as the Houston Galleria, it's still pretty large. Since we were there long enough that I thought they would charge us rent, I had ample opportunity to window shop. The girls were spending the real money.
