The Fisherman's Wharf in Galveston, TX offers you a great seafood dinner on the back patio while enjoying a view of the sailing ship Elissa.
At the entrance to Enterprise Plaza in downtown Houston is a dancing fountain that should be seen at night to enjoy. Surrounded by smaller fountains that overflow into pools of light, this disappearing fountain can be missed from the street if you don’t look closely. It also runs on a timer and is not always “dancing” when you pass by, as was the case on an earlier visit.
Every year, I try and take out a few minutes and reminisce about the stories behind our ornaments. I bet you and your family have a few stories hanging on your tree too.
