You can tell from previous images that Union Pacific 844 is a very large steam locomotive owned by Union Pacific Railroad. But until you get down beside it, you can’t appreciate how large it really is. The main wheels are as large as a person. I remember standing beside it wondering how much each of these wheels must have weighed, then how much power the locomotive must create just to turn those wheels, much less pull the train.
Carnivals and State Fairs are fun for a lot of reasons. One of which is the food. Every year around spring break, the rodeo comes to Houston. Alongside the rodeo, is a huge vendor area with anything to eat that you can imagine. One of the more popular items people enjoy are the large turkey legs. For a handfull of dollars, you can walk around the vendor area or carnival and show everyone how macho you are, as you gnaw on your oversized drumstick.
