I would guess that most really small towns look the same well after midnight; empty and quiet. That was the case when we came home from a late night of photographing the night sky and drove through the not-so-booming-metropolis of East Bernard.

At the entrance to Enterprise Plaza in downtown Houston is a dancing fountain that should be seen at night to enjoy. Surrounded by smaller fountains that overflow into pools of light, this disappearing fountain can be missed from the street if you don’t look closely. It also runs on a timer and is not always “dancing” when you pass by, as was the case on an earlier visit.
