At the entrance to Enterprise Plaza in downtown Houston is a dancing fountain that should be seen at night to enjoy. Surrounded by smaller fountains that overflow into pools of light, this disappearing fountain can be missed from the street if you don’t look closely. It also runs on a timer and is not always “dancing” when you pass by, as was the case on an earlier visit.
Every year, I try and take out a few minutes and reminisce about the stories behind our ornaments. I bet you and your family have a few stories hanging on your tree too.
The neighborhood I live in goes a bit overboard at Christmas. Lights, lights and more lights. So much so, that on the weekends, you can hardly drive down the streets due to onlookers and trailers of people being pulled for hayrides as they sight-see.
